Card Details: To secure your dinner reservation with us, non-residents are required to provide their card details. No deposit is taken but a cancellation policy applies, please see below.
Cancellation for Bookings made from 18th June 2024: Cancellation with less than 24 hours notice or ‘no shows’ will be charged £40 per person booked. This includes a booking reduction in party numbers upon arrival. In the event of a cancellation within the 24 hours of your booking that we are able to resell, the charge will not occur. We will always endeavour to resell a table, both online & our social media, but it may not be successful at short notice which is why this policy is in place.
‘Waitlist’: Due to the volume of requests we receive for dinner, operating a waitlist is unfortunately unattainable. Instead, if we receive a late cancellation we will ALWAYS post this to both our Facebook and Instagram pages for immediate online booking. No-Shows are much harder to fill as they are usually declared 20 minutes after initial booking time, but we do offer them out in the bar for drinkers who may want to eat.
Children: Aged 15+ only for dining. Over 18’s only after 22.00h in all areas of the Inn. All ages are welcome in our bar for drinks until 22.00h.
Dogs: Small dogs may be permitted with advance notice only, due to our intimate size there may not be the available room for you to bring your dog.
Dietary Requirements/ Allergies: Please always let us know in advance of any dietary requirements – we need advance notice so we know if we can confirm booking for certain requirements. Our kitchen deals with many allergens so complete security from cross-contamination cannot be guaranteed. If you book as a vegetarian or vegan, additional dishes will be available on the night you dine to suit your requirements, these options are not always on the main menu unless we know in advance you require them.
Party Numbers: Our dinner tables are predominately residents only. Tables not taken first by residents of the Ferry Inn will be released for booking for non-residents. These are therefore limited tables and usually just for 2, on occasion tables of up to 4/5 can be accommodated. Please only book a table for the correct amount of people. We can not accept additional customers above the amount booked, we have a very small dining space. Bookings for non-residents are released 6 weeks in advance of the date and when they become available will be bookable online using our ResDiary above. Only tables up to 4 are available to book online, if you would like to enquire about a table for 5, please contact us directly before booking.
Dress Code: The Ferry Inn does not have a dress code, we want you to come & relax with great food & drinks! We do ask though, for the comfort of other guests dining, that all diners please wear shoes. If you’re coming straight from the hills with muddy boots, we recommend having a spare pair of shoes in your car/bag!
Larger Parties/ Wedding’s/Events: Unfortunately we are unable to host bigger parties, weddings ect. We don’t have the staff or capacity at this time. Dinner tables for Small Elopements of 2-6 guests can be arranged depending on date availability – please get in touch.
