Our Bar is the heart of the Ferry Inn! It’s a place where you can enjoy a drink relaxing by the double sided stove or spend a full evening sampling whisky/cocktails & singing along to the legendary Ferry Inn playlist* (maybe with a guitar in hand)… Keep up to date with live music on our Facebook page.
Choose from our extensive gin collection, housing both Scottish & World gins, including the best from our Island & the Outer Hebrides. Or is whisky more your thing? Try something from our beautiful curated wee whisky shelf, with some of the best local & more unusual drams about, we constantly rotate our offering throughout the year to keep it interesting!
We have a popular cocktail menu too, which is home to some of our original house cocktails (including Ferry On the Rocks) as well as fresh, seasonal additions throughout the year.
Our carefully selected wine list has been chosen in collaboration with our supplier, Corney & Barrow. Est. 1780, one of the oldest independent wine merchants in the UK. We keep it small but filled with quality, gorgeous wine.
DOGS: Well behaved dogs are welcome in the bar for drinks, please note we have our own dog, Mac who is always in the bar, He’s very happy to share toys, water & treats, but not his premium spot by the stove! due to its intimate size, we are unable to have dogs in our dining space
Local Ale & Lager
We have two traditional handpulls featuring ales brewed right here in Uig at the Isle of Skye Brewery during the season. On tap we also have the local Skye Blonde & Cuillin Lager as well as Flint Eye Lager, Icebreaker Pale Ale & Beavertown Neck Oil Session IPA. There is also a number of other options on tap from Weston Cider to Guinness.
We also carry a great range of bottled & canned beers/ciders from a number of Scottish & English breweries, as well as plenty of non-alcoholic/ low abv options too including Halo from Black Isle Brewery & Pictish 0% Cider from Cairn o’ Mohr.
Bar Opening Times 2026:
Tuesday – Saturday: Open for drinks only 5-10pm*
Sunday & Monday: Closed
Our bar is just for drinks, no food is served. Tables and bar stools are for walk-ins, no need to book for drinks. In nice weather, we have a lovely drinks garden out front. *on quieter nights, the bar may closer earlier than 10pm.
