About Us
The Ferry Inn is a cosy, stylish & lively Inn in the little fishing village of Uig, situated in the north of the Isle of Skye on the Trotternish Peninsula. With a well stocked bar, intimate small plates restaurant and three gorgeous boutique guest rooms, we’re a family run Inn with a passion for providing the perfect base for our guests to explore the beautiful island of Skye. So whether you are popping by for an evening drink or enjoying a leisurely dinner – we look forward to welcoming you to the Ferry Inn.
We bought the Ferry Inn in September 2014 and went ahead with a full scale renovation over the next 19 months to transform it into the chic but cosy coastal retreat it is today!
We are centrally positioned on the southwest-facing Uig Bay, with a fantastic view towards the Waternish peninsula out over the crofts and water. Watch the Ferry to the Outer Hebrides and the fishing boats come and go from a window seat or by the double sided stove, or if the Scottish sun is shining, our drinks garden makes the perfect perch for an evening drink or three.
