Dinner T&C’s 2026:
Card Details: To secure your dinner reservation with us, non-residents are required to provide their card details via our secure ResDiary booking system. No deposit is taken but a cancellation policy applies, please see below.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellation with less than 24 hours notice or ‘no shows’ will be charged £35 per person. This includes a booking reduction in party numbers upon arrival. In the event of a cancellation within the 24 hours of your booking that we are able to resell, the charge will not occur. We will always endeavour to resell a table, both online & our social media, but it may not be successful at short notice which is why this policy is in place.
‘Waitlist’: We offer a small cancellation list for dates, please get in touch directly. If we receive a late cancellation with no waitlist, we will ALWAYS post this to both our Instagram and Facebook pages for immediate online booking. ‘No Dates are Showing on your online Calendar, is something broken?’: No, everything is working correctly! Tables will only be released two weeks in advance of a date at 12.00pm BST Tuesday’s (5 May for week of 19 May etc). So tables can only be booked 2 weeks in advance from this date. Once released, tables remain online until booked, so when no dates show, this means all dates released have been taken, and the next week has not yet opened up.
Children: Due to our small amount of tables we are aged 12+ only for dining. Please include all 12+ ages in your booked covers. Over 18’s only after 22.00h in all areas of the Inn. All ages are welcome in our bar for drinks until 22.00h. We do not have a children’s menu, please make sure our menu suits all party members.
Dogs: Due to our intimate size we are no longer able to accept dogs for dining. Well behaved dogs are more than welcome in the bar area for drinks (no food served in bar).
Dietary Requirements/ Allergies: Please always let us know in advance of any dietary requirements – we need advance notice so we know if we can confirm booking for certain requirements. Our kitchen deals with many allergens, including an assortment of nuts & gluten so security from cross-contamination is not guaranteed. We cannot cater to garlic or spice allergies. Most of our menu can be adjusted to gluten free. We’re a small kitchen & whilst we have vegetarian options on our menu, we are unable to cater to a vegan menu.
Party Numbers: We only have 5 tables of 2 at the Inn, so bookings can only be made up to parties of 4 online. Please only book a table for the correct amount of people. We can not accept additional customers above the amount booked, we have a very small dining space. Please do not book a table for the incorrect number of people and then ask to add people on, your booking will be automatically terminated.
Booking Dates/Release Dates for Tables: Bookings for non-residents are released 2 weeks in advance of the date and when they become available will be bookable online using our ResDiary. All tables are released on Tuesdays for the following fortnight at 12pm BST. Only tables up to 4 are available to book online, if you would like to enquire about a table for 5 or 6 please contact us directly before booking date is released to see if it is possible.
Dress Code: The Ferry Inn does not have a dress code, we want you to come & relax with great food & drinks! We do ask though, for the comfort of other guests dining, that all diners please wear shoes. If you’re coming straight from the hills with muddy boots, we recommend having a spare pair of shoes in your car/bag!
Larger Parties/ Wedding’s/Events: Unfortunately we are unable to host bigger parties, weddings ect. We don’t have the staff or capacity at this time. Dinner tables for Small Elopements of 2-6 guests can be arranged depending on date availability – please get in touch for details & arrangements.
